Jonathan Lam, AKA The Lam Boy, I've been creating Christian media in my spare time for over 15 years.

I enjoy using art to express amazing things about God and His works.

I am far from perfect but still want to express what I have learnt for others to know and also as a reminder for myself.

I live in sunny Queensland Australia with my beloved wife and darling daughter.

Christian Life

I grew up in Church all my life, with my Dad being a pastor.
Decided to commit my life to Christ, and got baptised at 12 years old.
In addition to the Bible and my Church, I am also am inspired by Biblical teachings from:

Art life

I've been drawing since I could hold a pencil and studied Character Animation at university in 2006-2008.

I created short animated films from then but transitioned to comics in 2020 due to time constraints.

"The Lam Boy" meaning

"Lam" is my last name but it actually means forrest. In Chinese, "Lam" is written with characters that look like 2 crosses.

Lamb in a english word has connotations to the Lamb of God.

Someone misread it one time, thinking it said "THE I AM BOY". Which is not what it says but the meaning is the same.

So the secret meaning behind "The Lam Boy" is more like "The Jesus Boy"

Also, I think I heard Paul Washer say something like, you are not a man of God unless you are at least 80 years old. So, I am still a boy in my walk with God.
